Be part of our Earth Month Patagonia Gear Swap event! It's all about community, sustainability, and giving pre-loved Patagonia clothing and gear a new life. You can buy, sell or both in a consignment-type sale.
During our weekend swap event, you'll find great deals on quality used Patagonia products provided by the community. All items are brought in the week prior and sold as-is in a consignment-type sale. Select swap items will be discounted at 25% off on Sunday.
Items purchased at the sale cannot be returned. Please check the item over carefully. Pre-owned Patagonia items are still covered under the Ironclad Guarantee.
Got Patagonia Items to Sell?
The seller prices Patagonia items in a consignment-type sale. Using an online intake form, choose between 70% in the form of a check or 100% in-store credit if your item(s) sell. Store credits are valid at Patagonia Burlington and Skirack. There is an option to put your item(s) at 25% off on Sunday (if it doesn't sell on Saturday).
If your item sells, store credits are available Monday, April 20 at 10AM and checks for pickup at 2PM.

What if my item has a small issue or minimal damage?
Patagonia Burlington can help with many repairs in-store prior to intake week (before Monday, April 6). We welcome you to look at Patagonia’s DIY webpage and do some self-repair before bringing an item in for intake. We will not be performing in-house repairs on swap items during intake week due to volume. Thank you for your understanding.
Where do I find the online intake form?
There will be a link at the top of this webpage by Thursday, April 9th.
Pricing an item
We are happy to help with a final price once you bring your item into us, but the final decision is up to you. Please complete the online intake form first.
A good rule of thumb is to start with at least 50% off the original selling price, then adjust depending on the item, age and wear and tear. Please also note there may be similar items in the swap, so we recommend that you price competitively.
Please note there is a $10 price minimum per item.
What is the benefit of completing the online intake form ahead of time?
You will experience a quicker intake by completing the intake form ahead of time. We do not have a kiosk available in the store. Once your form has been submitted, you'll receive a digital copy via email for your records.
Please note: We have the right to refuse any item that does not meet our quality standards or criteria.
When can I bring in my used Patagonia items to Patagonia Burlington?
After you’ve completed the online intake form, you can bring your Patagonia gently used items to Patagonia Burlington starting Friday, April 10 through Friday, Aprlil 17 (10am-6pm).
Can I bring items to sell on the Saturday of the date sale?
No, we will not accept any items on Saturday the 19th.
Are you going to call me if my items sell?
No, you need to check to find out if your gear has sold. We post swap results online at two times: Approximately 8pm on Saturday AND approximately 8pm on Sunday on this web page. It will list your name and whether or not all your items are sold and that is all. You are responsible for finding out if your items have sold or not.
My items did not sell. What happens if I don't pick them up by Tuesday, April 21st?
Unsold items must be picked up between Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21 (10am-6pm) or they will be forfeited. Please make a plan to pick up your items. You may ask someone else to pick up your gear. Just have them bring a copy of your swap ticket.
Can I use my swap store credit to buy stuff in the sale?
No. All store credits are available on Monday following the sale. Swap Store credits may only be used for Patagonia Burlington gear AND anything at Skirack on Main Street.
Can I take my items out of the sale during the day?
No. You will have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to pick up your items if they did not sell.
Can I change the asking price during the day of the sale?
No. You can, however, choose to have your items marked down on Sunday if they don’t sell on Saturday, but this has to be decided during intake.
Can I wait to make up my mind about whether I want store credit or cash if my items sells?
No. Decide as best you can when you enter your item(s). We would recommend store credit which is good at Patagonia Burlington and Skirack.
My items sold. When will store credit and checks be ready?
If your item sells, store credits are available Monday, April 20 at 10AM and checks for pickup at 2PM.
