It has a smooth, supple 100% recycled polyester taffeta shell with a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemistry) to resist moisture and/or coffee spills. Inside the sleeves, body and hood, a lightweight yet warm layer of 80-g THERMOLITE® ECO92 polyester insulation (92% recycled) traps heat with remarkable efficiency even when wet; it's highly stuffable and soft for all-day comfort. The full front zipper has an exterior-snap storm flap for weather protection and a skin-friendly collar features 14-wale corduroy made from a smooth blend of organic cotton and polyester to rest easy on your neck. Stitched with a tough thread for durability, the diamond-quilting pattern creates an impressive heat-trapping structure while at the same time reducing bulk and increasing compressibility. Two handwarmer pockets thaw cold fingers and two drop-in pockets (with snap-flap closures) have enough room for a phone and wallet. The interior chest pocket secures with a zipper and holds small valuables. Snap-closing cuffs seal out cold drafts.
