Patagonia's midsized Black Hole® duffel is highly weather-resistant, stubbornly tough and protects your gear from travel and rough handling. The main compartment opens via a zippered U-shaped lid, which has a pair of zip-closing mesh pockets on the underside for easily lost items like earbuds and a phone charger. A zippered exterior pocket holds all the stuff you need to access quickly. The padded bottom panel adds structure and helps cushion the load when your duffel gets the baggage-handler treatment. Carrying options include padded, removable shoulder straps, webbing handles with a snap closure and haul loops at either end for linking multiple bags. Daisy chains let you lash additional gear to the outside. Made from 14-oz 900-denier 100% postconsumer recycled polyester ripstop (22% solution-dyed) with a TPU-film laminate and lined with 3.3-oz 200-denier 100% recycled polyester with a polyurethane coating. Both fabrics have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

Best bag for a little trip review by Patagonia Burlington Staff - Charlie on 12/24/2020The 55L Black Hole Duffel is pretty much the perfect midsize duffel bag. I've used it to pack a lot of gear for a short trip on a long weekend, or to pack light for a 10-day trip. Backpack straps make it nice and portable, while other bags loaded as fully would be a bear to lug around an airport or to and from the car. It's super durable, and can take pretty much anything you throw at it. It's not technically carry-on size, but I have crammed it into more than its fair share of overhead compartments. A must-have for any active traveler, whether by plane, train, or automobile.

Due to dealer agreements, we currently only ship to addresses in the United States.
Patagonia Burlington currently ships items to all 48 contiguous states, Alaska, and Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We also ship to Military APO / FPO addresses.
If your order meets or exceeds the amount advertised on the website, you qualify for free shipping. Choose the FREE delivery option (up to 10 business days) at checkout. This offer is valid for orders shipped to addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. The Free shipping option is not valid for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or anywhere else outside of the lower 48 states. Free shipping orders will be shipped by the most appropriate method based on their physical size and destination.
2-Day Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii may take three days. Next-Day Delivery is available only in the continental US. Next-Day Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii may take an additional 1-2 days.
All shipping methods do not deliver on weekends, but the on business days (Mon-Fri).
We currently do not ship to International addresses.
